What is Edge Lab?
Most firms hand you a P&L and call it analytics. Edge Lab reads how you actually trade — your edge and your psychology — grades it like a pro report card, and shows you exactly where you leak money. It's built into your dashboard, it runs on its own, and it costs you nothing extra.
Edge Lab is powered by OTIS, the diagnostic engine our hedge-fund partner uses to monitor and improve its own traders. That partnership is what lets us put it in your hands.
What Edge Lab tells you
- Your Edge Score and Psychology Score — two clear scores out of ten. One for the statistical quality of your trading, one for your discipline under pressure.
- A pro report card — letter grades across 13 specific trading behaviors, from risk control to revenge trading. Every strength and every leak, named.
- Your biggest leak, priced — Edge Lab pinpoints the one habit costing you the most and puts a dollar figure on it, so you know what to fix first.
- Trade-by-trade quality — every trade it can score gets bucketed A, B, C or D, with the receipts behind each grade.
- What if you'd fixed it — a counterfactual that replays your trades without your worst habit, so you can see the money left on the table.
- Coaching, in plain English — not just charts. A written read of how you trade and what to work on next, like a coach who watched every fill.
Where to find it
Open Edge Lab in your dashboard sidebar. There are two tabs:
- Report — your current diagnosis. The scores, the grade card, your biggest leak, the trade-by-trade quality, the counterfactual and the written coaching.
- History — how all of it has moved over time. Your grades week by week, your scores charted against your account milestones, and the leaks you've already fixed.
The Report answers how am I trading? The History tab answers am I actually getting better?
What it reads
Edge Lab works from the trades you actually executed — every fill from every account you hold with us, evaluation and funded alike. You don't upload anything, tag anything, or keep a journal. It reads what you did and tells you what it means.
Because it works from executed trades, it needs some to work from. Edge Lab opens once you've placed 20 round-turn trades — see Unlocking Edge Lab.
How often it updates
Edge Lab updates nightly. A fresh read is captured for you every night, so your grades reflect your trading through roughly the last completed session. There's nothing to refresh and nothing to request — sign in the next day and the new read is waiting.
The History tab notes the exact date of your latest read at the foot of the page: "Your latest read was captured [date]."
