Clear payouts

Once your Clear account is funded, you can request a payout on your profits. This article covers everything that governs a Clear payout — what you need to qualify, how much you can take, and what happens after your fifth.

The two gates

To qualify for a Clear payout you must clear both of these. They reset after each payout:

  1. Five profitable days in the cycle, each meeting a minimum for your account size.
  2. A net-positive cycle — the cycle as a whole has to finish green, even if only by a dollar.

There's no consistency rule on a funded Clear account, and no minimum profit goal beyond the net-positive requirement. Your dashboard shows where you stand at the time you request.

Minimum

  • $500 minimum per payout request — the same across every account size.
  • You keep a 90% profit split. Our only cut is 10%, with no other fees.

Maximum per payout

On a Clear account you can request up to 50% of your profit, capped at a maximum dollar amount that depends on your account size:

Account size Payout maximum
$25,000 50% of profit, up to $1,000
$50,000 50% of profit, up to $2,000
$100,000 50% of profit, up to $2,500
$150,000 50% of profit, up to $3,000

Unlike Prime, the Clear maximum doesn't change between your first and later payouts. The exact maximum for your next request is always shown in your dashboard.

Gate 1 — five profitable days

To qualify you need five profitable days in the cycle — but a day only counts toward those five if it nets at least a minimum amount for your account size:

Account size A day counts if it nets at least
$25,000 $100
$50,000 $150
$100,000 $200
$150,000 $250

A few things worth knowing:

  • A green day below the minimum still isn't a loss — it simply doesn't tick the counter.
  • The five days don't have to be consecutive.
  • They're counted since your last payout, not from the day the account was funded. If you haven't taken a payout yet, every trading day on the account counts.

Your dashboard shows where you stand (for example, "3 of 5 profitable days") when you go to request a payout.

Gate 2 — a net-positive cycle

The cycle as a whole has to finish green. Five profitable days won't qualify you if larger losing days in between have left the cycle net-negative overall.

Even $1 of net profit satisfies this — it's a direction check, not a threshold.

Two side effects of taking a payout

Both of these are specific to Clear, and worth planning for before you request:

  • Your Max Loss Limit relocks to your starting balance + $100. See Clear drawdown.
  • Your maximum contract size may step down, because the deduction lowers your profit and your size band is based on current profit. See Clear scaling.

When you can request, and how you're paid

There's no fixed payout window — request on any day you're eligible. Approved payouts are deducted within minutes and disbursed within up to 5 business days through our payout partner Rise.

Before your first payout you complete a one-time payout verification with Rise. This is separate from the identity check you did before trading. See Payout methods and speed and Payout eligibility and verification.

Up to five payouts, then live

Clear allows up to five payouts. After your fifth approved payout, the account becomes eligible to move to a live program — see Clear: after five payouts.

One thing to keep in mind

Performance payouts are discretionary compensation based on your simulated results — not returns on investment, wages, or guaranteed income. Meeting the criteria doesn't by itself guarantee approval: we may review, delay, reduce, or deny a payout where we identify a rule violation, fraud, or a risk-management concern.
