The Prime daily loss limit

Prime adds a daily loss limit on top of the trailing Max Loss Limit. It caps how much you can lose in a single day, so one bad session can't undo a good week.

This is the rule that most distinguishes Prime from Clear — Clear has no daily loss limit at all.

In the evaluation: a fixed limit

During the evaluation your daily loss limit is a fixed dollar amount based on your account size:

Tier Account size Daily loss limit
Silver $25K None
Gold $50K $1,200
Platinum $100K $1,800
Titanium $150K $2,700

The $25K Silver size has no daily loss limit. On Silver, the Max Loss Limit is your only limit in the evaluation.

Once funded: the Edge DLL

When your account becomes funded, the daily loss limit starts at the same fixed amount — then changes character. It becomes the Edge DLL, and it scales up as your account grows.

Once your account closes above its initial trail balance, the Edge DLL is calculated from your best end-of-day profit rather than staying at a flat number:

Edge DLL = 60% of your highest end-of-day profit

It only ever moves up. A losing day doesn't shrink it — once earned, the extra daily room stays with the account.

The practical effect is that the more the account grows, the more room you have on any given day. A funded Prime account that has banked meaningful profit is far less likely to bump into its daily limit than a fresh one.

Your current Edge DLL is always shown in your dashboard.

It's a guardrail, not an account-ending breach

The daily loss limit is a soft limit. It's there to stop a single session running away from you, not to end your account.

The limit that ends a Prime account is the Max Loss Limit — that one is hard, and hitting it closes the account immediately. See Prime drawdown for how it works.
