Understanding the simulated environment

All trading on FundYourEdge takes place in a simulated environment using virtual funds and real market data. No real capital is deployed at any stage of the evaluation or funded phases, and no live orders are executed.

What "simulated" means for you

  • References to "funded accounts" or "capital" describe simulated trading allocations only.
  • The balances, profits, and capital shown in your account are simulated and are not real funds. You have no right to withdraw those balances directly.
  • Your only entitlement is to the performance payouts you become eligible for — discretionary compensation paid on your simulated results, not returns on investment.
  • You are never charged for simulated losses.

Why we run it this way

Simulated trading lets us give skilled traders access to real upside without anyone risking money they can't afford to lose. You trade under real market conditions; we reward real performance.

Required risk disclosure

CFTC RULE 4.41 — HYPOTHETICAL OR SIMULATED PERFORMANCE RESULTS

HYPOTHETICAL OR SIMULATED PERFORMANCE RESULTS HAVE CERTAIN LIMITATIONS. UNLIKE AN ACTUAL PERFORMANCE RECORD, SIMULATED RESULTS DO NOT REPRESENT ACTUAL TRADING. ALSO, SINCE THE TRADES HAVE NOT BEEN EXECUTED, THE RESULTS MAY HAVE UNDER- OR OVER-COMPENSATED FOR THE IMPACT, IF ANY, OF CERTAIN MARKET FACTORS, SUCH AS LACK OF LIQUIDITY. SIMULATED TRADING PROGRAMS IN GENERAL ARE ALSO SUBJECT TO THE FACT THAT THEY ARE DESIGNED WITH THE BENEFIT OF HINDSIGHT. NO REPRESENTATION IS BEING MADE THAT ANY ACCOUNT WILL OR IS LIKELY TO ACHIEVE PROFITS OR LOSSES SIMILAR TO THOSE SHOWN.

Trading futures involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for all investors. Past performance — whether actual or simulated — is not indicative of future results.
